A must-do in Mont Saint-Michel!
From old stones to nature, in this immense bay, subject to tides of exceptional magnitude. I suggest you follow me to discover it during commented walks.
Walking barefoot, discovery of quick-sands, possible crossing of rivers : quite an adventure !
In groups or privately. These walks are a unique moment of breathing, freedom and contemplation of one of the most beautiful bays in the world.
Crossing on flat ground, but with variable soils, sometimes slippery, wet, muddy... We often have to cross arms of water. While being adaptable, the walk therefore requires that you be able to walk a few kilometers...
The equipment to be provided depends on the season and on the weather.
From April to October, the outing is in principle in shorts, barefoot (or in neoprene shoes for the more cautious).
In winter, and if it is a simple walk without crossing a river, you can consider wearing boots.
In all cases :
Provide a change, a towel, a bottle of water – possibly something to eat if a picnic is planned in the bay, hat, waterproof windbreakerin every season (the weather is changeable and often windy in the bay!), sunscreen and sunglasses (there is a lot of reverberation). light shoes, because you will have to wear them during the crossing !!
Bag to collect your waste, if necessary.
